Have you watched 'Mind your Language'? Well it is one of the most hilarious show I have ever seen.. once there was an explanation on how cricket is played. Let me see how much I can reproduce .. But if you can get hold of the serial do watch it ..

Mr.Brown (The English Professor explains the game) “There are two teams with 11 players each. One side is in while the other is out. Well what I meant was one side is on the field while the other is inside. The first two men, the batsmen, walk onto the field to bat while the other side is on the field, fielding. God doesn't love u !!!

Let's assume, for a moment, that there is a God. We may not know the nature of God, or
which religion comes closest to the truth, but we can be sure of one thing:

God does not love you.

Look at all the cruelty and misery in the world, which God does nothing to stop. Right now,
as you are reading this, there are children in various places around the world being raped
and tortured. Most of us would risk our lives, give up our lives, to save them if we could.
God stands by and does nothing. God has abandoned these children, and clearly does not
love them. God does not love you, either.

There are some religions which claim that "God's love is a different kind of love", which is
supposed to explain and justify what appears to be God's divine indifference. This is total
bullshit. If I claim that I love my neighbor, and then set his house on fire and shoot him in
the head, anyone can see that my "love" is not love at all.

Another fallacy along these lines is the statement that, "God doesn't give us more than we
can handle in life". This is a ridiculous statement. Go to a mental institution, go to the ward
for those who are seriously disturbed, and you'll see people who just sit and rock back and
forth all day, staring off into space, or screaming at nonexistant terrors. God has given
them more than they could handle, and now they're totally broken.

So you have no loving God watching over you, making sure you get what you need. You
don't get what you need in life, you don't get what you want, you don't get what you
deserve. You get what you get.

In our day to day life we forget to love and pamper ourself and thats what reflects in our appearance and in our attitude........Give your self a little time.

Can anyone tell me that when we breakup with someone who is close to our heart, why our friends say- “कुछ नही होता”, “जो होता है अच्छे के लिए होता है”?

I’m not asking this because I have any answer for it. I really don’t have any answer for it. But yes, the people who say this are your FRIENDS, and they can’t see you unhappy. They just want you to come out of the distress, the pain you are going through. Keep yourself at their place; I’m sure many of you must have played this part of providing the soothing effect for some or many of your friends. And at this point you also say the same words. This is because you actually you don’t have anything to say.

And somehow you come out of your pain, of course with the help of your friends, and with time. Everyone moves on, leaving the time behind and taking the memories along, which are sometimes kept hidden at a corner of your heart. You again become lively and the people who love you just can’t stop wishing all the happiness for you.

And down the line, some day, by accident, you find another person and you feel at the very first sight that he/she is special. Sometimes you never see them again and many a times you get them as an ANGEL in your life. These superb creatures are so very awesome that you can do anything to be with them. And here starts another story. Being with this Angel you forget everything. You do crazy things, like...... now this I can’t say, as it differs for everyone.

And this relation is so very pure and so different that sometimes you just cannot understand it. And it’s not your fault; this is because you yourselves are ignorant about such an association. But as you understand it, you love it, and more than love, you respect it. Because you never expected anything from it, and because of an unknown force it has become a world to you. And believe me; you will never expect anything from it, but what you get out of it is DIVINE.

And that day we think about the statement - जो होता है अच्छे के लिए होता है. I can’t say more than this, as rest you’ll have to understand.

A group of frogs were traveling through the woods, and two of them fell into a deep pit. All the other frogs gathered around and said they would never get out.
The two frogs ignored the comments and tried to jump up out of the pit. When they saw how deep the pit was, they told the unfortunate
frogs to stop jumping out. The other frogs kept telling them to stop, that they were as good as dead.
Finally, one of the frogs took heed to what the other frogs were saying and simply gave up. He fell down and died.
The other frog however continued to jump as hard as he could. Once again, the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and suffering and just die. But to the surprise of one and all, he jumped even harder and finally did come out.
When he got out, the other frogs asked him, “Why did you continue jumping? Didn’t you hear us?” It was shocking for them to know that the frog was deaf and all the time he actually thought they were all encouraging him to get out. He did not want to disappoint them and therefore did not give him up till the end.
This story teaches two lessons:
There is the power of life & death in the tongue. An encouraging word to someone who is down can lift them up and help them make it through the day.
A destructive word to someone who is down can be what it takes to kill them.
Be careful of what you say. Speak life to those who cross your path. The power of words… it is sometimes hard to understand. An encouraging word can go such a long way. Anyone can speak words that tend to rob another of the spirit to continue in difficult times.
Special is the individual who will take the time to encourage another. Be special to others!

I be old

Certain headers can get you so much of attention. This one is my gtalk status right now. And almost everyone on my gtalk list asked me why did I have such a status. Even those who seldom speak with me, or who have a perpetual DND status.

For me, age has never been an issue to worry about. I have never been secretive about my age either. It's silly to hide one's age, especially when you already have wrinkles on your face and you still claim to be hovering somewhere in between 25 to 28. And no, this is no exaggeration, I know people who claim to be in their late twenties even though they have crossed the thirty mark a few years back.

Well, I am sure they do have their reasons for pretending to be so young. And fears too. A friend is 32, unmarried. She loves one guy and is going around with another. The guy she is in love with wants to marry a good looking girl as he happens to be the brother of a well known bollywood actress. For him, having a hot chic as his wife is very much necessary thanks to his "social circle". They keep going in and out of the relationship. The other guy in her life is a backup, if things don't work out with this one, then he is always there.

No, don't judge her. Maybe you would have done the same thing if you were her. Age and loneliness can make you do weird things in life. Another friend is in her late thirties and single too. She happens to be a very good looking girl, very intelligent and independent. But well, she was betrayed by her guy and now it's too late and difficult for her to find a guy she would be happy with thanks to our Indian society and its mentality.

As they say, you should never underestimate a woman unless you are talking about her age or weight. It stands true in most cases. Even those who claim that they don't mind disclosing their real age/weight are usually dishonest. Usually, not always.

Ah, this is so typically me. I start talking about one point and digress to something totally different. I have been sulking about being old - not because of aging, or wrinkles (not that I have any), or greying of hair (that I have many), but just thinking about my age suddenly makes me feel oh-so-old. There is so much I have done, there is so much to do, from career to personal life, and such other things.

Each one of us creates stories in mind. For every situation we face. Especially while sitting idle, while travelling. Even while reading, the mind wanders. It creates stories on paper, it writes them, and erases them. Each time, the mind creates a new world for you - a perfect one. Things work as they are written. There are no surprises, only happy instances. No sorrows, no pain, no grief. Just a happy journey lasting for a few moments. A scene you can die for, a moment you can wait for your entire life. It looks so beautiful, surreal and pure, perfect beyond any perfectness.

You can smell their sadness when you open them, you can see the patches of their dried tears on the otherwise crisp white paper. They have lost their youth behind waiting for you, but still embrace you without complaining.

They stare at you when you are lost in your scotch and forget to acknowledge them. They stay close to your heart when you hug the sleep, they will fall hard on the floor and don't move until you pick them up and lock them once again. They keep aging, tattering, shedding tears, waiting for you to acknowledge them.

It's all about words at the end. Words written on them complete them. Words written by you in your mind define you. Each time you write a line, you change. And your words accept you. It's a power to create this world in your mind. It's a power to create such thoughts. And this power is addictive. It takes you everywhere and nowhere at the same time.

Reset scheduling job if server rebooting ....Datastage related

Some time I have a problem with scheduled jobs - if server was restarted while job running - job status after this become aborted and schedule don't work. For solve this problem I write a routine to reset job if it's status is aborted. I schedule it for 5 minutes before start of main job.

Perception !!!

Back in 90's when I used to see male & female sculptures on temple walls or idols of women goddess, i felt they were cool and very artistic. Now I don't find them attractive enough. Well our perception of how a human body looks like is constantly changing. It might be due to ads portraying people with 6 pack or woman with just the right proportion which is far from truth. As a result there is an increased pressure for people to look good and at the same time I see people having confused with the concept of looking healthy and looking good. I feel a good doze of exercise that can help you run a 2 km stretch without gasping for breath is all that is required for a person to look attractive. It really does not make any sense if you have six pack and unable to climb a set a 10 story stairs.
I wonder how small kids will cope with looking good peer pressure as every one of them wants be like a Barbie doll. Here's a link on how Barbie dolls of 90's and 00's look like & how unrealistic there body proportions are.

Love Over Reason !!!

When a person is born, he/she first experiences love, then is followed by reasons, much later. When the person is dying, all he/she wants is love, and no numbers or reasons. All reasons and numbers exist due to love without which they are meaningless. A person whose life lacks love, seeks fulfilment from numbers and reasons. This is something which isn't possible. Life's true joy lies in the simplest of all things, which is love.
